Our archival giclée prints are color matched to the original artwork by Fine Line Supply Co. at 207 North Trenton Street in Ruston, Louisiana. Each print is hand signed and numbered. They are printed on quality Fine Art Natural paper, a 230gsm, 100% cotton, acid-free paper. It does not contain artificial brightening agents which makes it archival paper. The inks are 12 color LUCIA EX pigment inks providing greater color gamut. Wilhelm Imaging Research has given these inks a permanence rating of up to 200 years when displayed under glass. Fine Line Supply Co. is a specialist printing studio, custom frame shop, and art supply store nestled in Historic Downtown Ruston. Origin of Giclée (zhee-KLAY)
Often used by artists, galleries, and print shops for their high quality printing, Giclée's are fine-art prints, usually archival, printed by inkjet.
Giclée  is a neologism, ultimately derived from the French word gicleur, coined in 1991 by printmaker Jack Duganne for fine art digital prints made using inkjet printers. The name was originally applied to fine art prints created on a modified Iris printer in a process invented in the late 1980s.
